Have you guys given any thought to Medals, btw? I find that a movie or game becomes much more popular when people get something tangible out of it. Hence, medals.

I'm thinking this, for one: complete the credits, and they unlock The Gallery. I'll make a bunch of sketches, free of any restrictions, like views, weapons or clothing types, and we can put them in a small gallery accessed from the menu.
And yes, these will be much better than those sad drawings that are on the site as of now. In fact, I'll probably take those off when the new stuff is up.
Give it a thought, at least.

lolz. Were gonna need someone to code a menu. Have you thought of preloader minigame? those are fun! The superflash bros' movies used to have alot of those before their actual movie. And maybe we can somehow put a medal into that, who knows.

so Preloader minigame- main menu- play, authors bios, option to go back to minigame, gallery, and maybe even a scene selection and easter eggs.

We should be able to pull of at least most of those. Much of it seems time consuming, but youd be surprized on how fast we can do it. O GOD I ALMOST FORGOT! We should have a credits section.

........I'm currently working on the side-views of every character at Afro's behest, plus bio images, PLUS art for other people. And unlike Vishnu, you and Afro are very hard to get a response out of. And besides designing the characters, I'm pretty useless. I don't have recording equipment, or I'd do the lines. I can't work flash, or I'd help with that. I do here what I know how.
And I'm TRYING to get my work up, but I need the library's scanner, and I have trouble making it on time.

And Red, I wish I could help with the voices, but I don't own any recording equipment. Which is a shame. I'm pretty good at voices,(I do a great Solid Snake impression, I'm told. :| ) and once I learn how to play the guitar, I can develop music, as I have a great singing voice, too. shukemei, do you have rockband or guitar hero world tour? Those games come with sub mics that work with computers, and also, you can download audacity for free, and its a really good auido mixing program

Well, I have RockBand for my Wii, and I can probably use my parent's laptop for Adaucity, so yeah. I may be able to do voices. I'd REALLY prefer to finish my artwork first, though. Besides, sure, I can imitate Snake/ Wolf, but I can do more than just one stereotype of voice. I can also perform the music, provided that you aren't looking for rap/ R&B or anything like that. Also, you will need to mix the track, as I can't do instruments, just vocals. I can do things like:
-Great Big Sea
-Chiodos
-Barenaked Ladies
-Folk, like Gordan Lightfoot
-Some Country
-Some modern work.

I'll think about it, probably for the next episodes. But wouldn't it be cool to have a staff member perform some of the music?!

I really liked my biopic! Although I necessarily didn't like how my hand covered part of my face. OH well, its really good though.

I don't like how the colors turned out, so if you want me to, I'll re-do it, as long as you can give me an idea of what kind of pose you want.

Speaking of colors, I'm going to get a buddy of mine to color the images digitally from now on. I may even get him to redo the old stuff...maybe. He's on NG, he's the one who scouted me. I've been having problems with my scanner and colors, so this is my best bet.

You know what I think that we should do? To afro, whos animating it. We should animate everything except the speaking parts! Since its taking so long for people to send in lines. If we just wait for people to send in lines, nothings gonna get DONE! so... we should animate all the parts, except for the ones that require a speaking role. don't get what Im saying? like ships, vehicles, backgrounds, foregrounds, objects, etc. Just everything but the people and speaking parts. That way, when Afro inserts the lines into the story, all he has to do, is animate the people, and the backgrounds, vehicles, etc are already done!

just a suggestion. If we work this way, i think we'll save a lot of time!

wow! that is really great coloring by sanchez, I must say! Well, there is now a new copy of the script revised by Red (and I helped!) is on the site. There is no color, because copying and pasting was a bitch to me :P. So yeah, we revised the script, added new jokes (sperm shaped escape pods FTW!), etc. We didn't have time to get it all finished, but Red said he'd finish it later. Oh wow, we're back to square one! So anyways, I'm going to try to get new people for voice acting. But now, its all such a mess, I don't know the parts that people need to try out for. Red will have to email it to me. So yeah, we gots it!

so, uhm, as Red-X already said I'll be the one who's gonna' color your artworks/images. I use Photoshop (CS3) for it and uh... the results can be seen either in my art forum thread, or my art portal submissions (with the most recent RIBBON KITSUNE COLLAB I made together with Shukumei :3)
uhm... I also make 3D models (only digital ones though) and there I primarily use Blender (I've some 3DsMax experiences too, but the final results aren't as nice as the Blender ones -.-')
well, hobbies are: drawing, 3D modelling, sports, gaming
and an important point: I live in Germany, so there'll (maybe) be a big time difference between us!

Music Ideas:

For battle scenes, I suggest Born and Raised, Water Wings ( and other Poolside Fashion faux pas), No Rest, and Control by Alexisonfire,or Come Close by Saosin. More of their music would work, but these are good examples.

For credits, I suggest In Amber Clad by Martin O'Donnell, Intensity In Ten Cities by Chiodos, or Sometimes I Just Go For It by The Used, which would be my choice. Not because I like them, but because it's perfect for a long, gentle credit roll. Props if you can speed up and slow down the roll in time with the song. :3 Major Props for dragging out the whole song.

I borrowed some code for a shooter, then modded the shit out of it, and fixed about 10 bugs. The AI is smarter, but for some reason, I can't get them to shoot. lol, they could be asteroids! DAMN I shoulda made them asteroids.

Red, have you ever considered having the characters talk like they're in an RPG? For scenes with talking, a lot of mouth movements could be hard to make, and could slow us down. The DS game Children of Mana had a great talking system, and it would be a good idea if you checked it out. It's the classic text talk, but each character onscreen has a wide range of emotions to show.
At least check it out, alright? It looks good, it's easy for Sanchez and I to make, and it saves us the hassle of looking for voice actors. :3
Go look up "Children of Mana" on Youtube to see what I mean.

Hey red. Get lines for each character. You know what we should do for casting? Have one line that people have to say to get casted. So we dont have to use a different line for every character. All we need to do is tell them what the character sounds like, or like send a vid to youtube for each character's voice. Then have them send their voice to you. Well. :D

What if we have the text talk, but for voices, we use those hilarious "voices" from the early games, a la Starfox 1. :3
